Ukrainian strikes hit Russian industrial sites as heavy fighting continues along eastern front

Ukrainian forces executed long-range drone and missile strikes targeting industrial and military infrastructure across several Russian regions, including Samara, Nizhny Novgorod, Penza, and Rostov. Satellite imagery confirmed structural damage to Samara's Progress Rocket Space Centre and the adjacent Aviakor aircraft repair facility, while additional strikes impacted targets near the Savasleyka airfield. Regional authorities in Samara acknowledged a large-scale attack on local industrial areas.

Concurrently, intense ground combat persisted along the eastern front line, with Ukraine's General Staff recording more than 250 engagements within 24 hours. Russian forces expanded positions south of Dobropillia on the Pokrovsk axis, pressed toward splitting Ukrainian forces east of the Oskil River near Kupiansk, and conducted heavy assault operations in the Lyman and Kostyantynivka sectors.
