Ukrainian strikes hit Russian industrial sites as eastern front battles intensify

Satellite imagery and regional reports indicate that recent Ukrainian drone and missile strikes struck industrial facilities in Russia's Samara region, including sites associated with the Progress Rocket Space Centre and the Aviakor aviation plant. Regional Russian authorities acknowledged an attack on an industrial facility amid reported aerial activity across the Nizhny Novgorod, Penza, and Rostov regions.

Meanwhile, intense ground combat continues along front lines in eastern Ukraine. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported more than 250 combat engagements within 24 hours, with heavy Russian assault operations concentrated around the Lyman, Kostiantynivka, and Pokrovsk directions. Russian forces have also sought to widen their zone of control south of Dobropillia and pressure Ukrainian defensive positions east of the Oskil River near Kupiansk.
