Ukrainian strikes hit Russian defense sites as heavy front-line combat persists

Ukrainian forces launched long-range missile and drone attacks targeting Russian defense infrastructure, causing damage to major industrial sites in the Samara region. Satellite imagery and local reports confirmed strikes at the Progress Rocket Space Centre and the nearby Aviakor aviation plant, both integral to military manufacturing and aircraft maintenance. Russian regional officials acknowledged an attack on an industrial facility, while further drone strikes were reported across several adjacent regions.

Simultaneously, ground combat intensified along the eastern front line. Ukrainian military sources recorded over 250 combat engagements in 24 hours, with heavy defensive operations concentrated in the Lyman and Kostyantynivka sectors.
