Ukrainian strikes hit Russian aerospace facilities amid intense frontline clashes

Long-range Ukrainian aerial strikes have targeted major industrial and military infrastructure across western Russia, according to regional officials, satellite imagery, and monitoring groups. In Samara, strikes hit facilities linked to the Progress Rocket Space Centre and the Aviakor aviation plant. Additional aerial attacks were reported across the Nizhny Novgorod, Penza, and Rostov regions, including activity near the Savasleyka military airfield.

Concurrently, intense ground combat continued across eastern Ukraine, with the Ukrainian General Staff recording over 250 engagements within 24 hours. Russian forces launched dozens of assaults along the Lyman, Kostiantynivka, and Pokrovsk sectors while attempting to split Ukrainian positions along the Oskil River. Independent military observers also noted shifting territorial control south of Dobropillia.
