Ukraine's Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko accused NABU director Semen Kryvonos of forgery before reportedly leaving the country, prompting President Zelenskyy to request his removal.

Ukraine’s Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko announced he signed a notice of suspicion against Semen Kryvonos, director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU). Kravchenko accused Kryvonos of document forgery for financial gain and orchestrating a fake adoption to avoid prosecution. Shortly after posting his video announcement, Kravchenko reportedly left Ukraine in an official vehicle.

NABU and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAP) denied that Kryvonos was officially served, describing the charges as an effort to disrupt anti-corruption inquiries involving current and former parliamentarians and presidential office officials. Following the statement, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy requested that parliament expedite Kravchenko’s dismissal from office.
