NABU and SAP denied that Director Semen Kryvonos was served with charges by Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko, calling the move an attempt to disrupt anti-corruption probes.

Ukraine’s National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAP) stated that NABU Director Semen Kryvonos was not officially served with a notice of suspicion, contradicting claims made by Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko.

Kravchenko had released a video message accusing Kryvonos of document forgery and a fake adoption to evade legal liability, shortly before reportedly leaving the country in an official vehicle. NABU and SAP characterized the accusations as an attempt to obstruct investigations into a criminal network involving current and former lawmakers, as well as Presidential Office officials.

Following the video's release, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy urged parliament to expedite Kravchenko’s removal from office.
