Ukrainian strikes targeted Russian missile and aviation plants in Samara as ground combat intensified along the eastern front with over 250 daily engagements.

Ukrainian forces launched a series of missile and drone attacks targeting strategic Russian defense and aerospace sites across several regions, including Samara, Nizhny Novgorod, Penza, and Rostov. Satellite imagery confirmed damage to the Progress Rocket Space Centre in Samara, which manufactures Soyuz launch vehicles, as well as the nearby Aviakor aviation repair plant. Regional authorities acknowledged a massive attack in Samara, while additional strikes reportedly hit infrastructure near the Savasleyka airfield.

Concurrently, heavy combat continued along the eastern front. Ukrainian defense officials reported more than 250 engagements over 24 hours, with high activity recorded in the Lyman and Kostyantynivka sectors. Meanwhile, Russian troops expanded their area of control south of Dobropillia and continued pushing to split Ukrainian positions on the eastern bank of the Oskil River near Kupyansk.
