Ukrainian long-range strikes hit Samara defense sites as eastern frontline clashes intensify

Long-range aerial strikes targeted Russian industrial and military sites, while heavy ground combat persisted across eastern Ukraine. Ukrainian forces launched missile and drone attacks hitting the Progress Rocket Space Centre and the adjacent Aviakor aircraft repair plant in Samara, according to satellite imagery and regional authorities. Additional strikes were reported across the Nizhny Novgorod, Penza, and Rostov regions, with damage noted near the Savasleyka airfield.

Concurrently, Russian forces advanced on the Pokrovsk front south of Dobropillia and attempted to split Ukrainian positions along the Oskil River near Kupiansk. Ukrainian defense officials reported more than 250 operational clashes over a 24-hour period, highlighting intense Russian assault efforts on the Lyman and Kostyantynivka axes. Russian strikes also hit Ukrainian metallurgical infrastructure.
