Ukrainian forces target Russian defence plants as frontline clashes intensify
Ukrainian long-range strikes damaged industrial facilities in Samara as over 250 frontline engagements were reported across eastern sectors.
Ukrainian forces executed long-range missile and drone strikes against industrial and defence facilities across several Russian regions, including Samara, Nizhny Novgorod, Penza, and Rostov. Satellite imagery and local reports confirmed damage to Samara’s Progress Rocket Space Centre, which produces Soyuz carrier rockets, and the adjacent Aviakor facility, which repairs military aircraft.
Simultaneously, intense fighting persisted along the eastern front, with Ukrainian officials reporting over 250 combat engagements in a single day. Russian troops expanded their control south of Dobropillia and attempted to split Ukrainian positions along the Oskil River near Kupiansk. Heavy assault operations were also reported along the Lyman and Kostyantynivka sectors.
