Ukrainian forces report over 250 daily clashes as fighting spans multiple sectors

Clashes across front-line sectors in Ukraine remain heavy, with the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reporting more than 250 combat engagements over a 24-hour period. Russian troops concentrated assault attempts near Pokrovsk, Kostiantynivka, and Lyman in efforts to break through Ukrainian lines.

To the north, Ukrainian infantry executed clearing operations along the right bank of the Oskil River near Kupiansk after neutralizing Russian electronic drone capabilities. Reports also indicated counter-operations near Lyman aimed at regaining control over territory.

Meanwhile, conflicting accounts emerged regarding developments in other sectors. The Russian Ministry of Defence claimed its troops captured several settlements near Sumy, while Russian Chief of General Staff Valery Gerasimov publicly rejected claims of Ukrainian gains in the Zaporizhzhia region.
