Heavy combat persists across eastern Ukraine, with over 250 daily engagements reported alongside shifting frontline positions in the Lyman, Kupyansk, and Sumy sectors.

Active combat across Ukraine's eastern front line intensified, with the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine recording between 221 and 254 engagements over recent 24-hour reporting periods. Russian troops mounted repeated offensive operations, conducting over 30 assaults each in the Lyman and Kostiantynivka sectors, alongside more than 20 repelled attacks around Pokrovsk.

Concurrently, shifting positions were reported across several regions. Ukrainian forces advanced along the right bank of the Oskil River north of Kupyansk, while reports indicated potential Ukrainian counter-advances near Lyman. Conversely, the Russian Ministry of Defense claimed to have captured several settlements approaching Sumy. Russian Chief of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov publicly rejected claims of Ukrainian gains in the Zaporizhzhia sector. Strikes targeting ammunition depots were also reported in the Kyiv region.
