Heavy fighting continues across eastern Ukraine, with over 220 daily engagements reported as Ukrainian forces counter Russian pressure near Kupiansk and Lyman.

Ground engagements across eastern and northern Ukraine remained intense, with the Ukrainian General Staff reporting between 220 and 250 operational clashes in recent 24-hour periods. Russian assault activity focused heavily on the Pokrovsk, Lyman, and Kostiantynivka axes, where Ukrainian troops repulsed dozens of localized attempts to pierce defensive positions.

In the Kupiansk sector, Ukrainian infantry conducted clearing operations on the right bank of the Oskil River following electronic warfare counter-drone efforts. Operational reports also indicated potential Ukrainian gains near Lyman, alongside contested claims regarding other sectors. While Russian defense authorities cited control over several border settlements near Sumy and denied Ukrainian progress in Zaporizhzhia, Ukrainian updates emphasized ongoing defensive actions and tactical counterattacks.
