Ukrainian forces targeted Russian naval assets in Crimea and conducted covert operations, while satellite imagery showed new Russian defenses at Novorossiysk.

Ukrainian defense and security forces have executed several targeted operations against Russian assets and personnel, according to official statements and media reports.

In occupied Crimea, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) alongside defense forces used uncrewed aerial vehicles to strike the port of Kerch. The attack damaged two Project 10410 Svitlyak-class patrol vessels belonging to Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB), named "Balaklava" and "Kerch".

Simultaneously, Ukrainian Special Operations Forces captured two Russian servicemen during a covert raid. Elsewhere, the naval reconnaissance unit "Angels" successfully extracted relatives of a Ukrainian officer from Russian-occupied territory to prevent coercion by occupation authorities.

In a separate development, satellite intelligence released by the British Ministry of Defence revealed that Russian naval commanders installed protective barriers around Project 636.3 submarines in Novorossiysk to guard against Ukrainian maritime drone strikes.
