Ukrainian forces advance near Kupyansk as heavy frontline clashes exceed 250 daily
Intense fighting continues along Ukraine's front lines with over 250 daily engagements, while Ukrainian troops advance near Kupyansk amidst conflicting control claims.
Heavy fighting continues across Ukraine's front lines, with the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reporting over 250 daily engagements. Russian forces executed repeated assaults in the Lyman and Kostiantynivka sectors in attempts to breach Ukrainian defensive lines, while also mounting dozens of attacks near Pokrovsk.
In the Kupyansk sector, Ukrainian infantry advanced along the right bank of the Oskil River following operations to suppress Russian drone capabilities. Conflicting claims persist regarding control in other regions. Russian military officials claimed advances near Sumy and denied Ukrainian gains in Zaporizhzhia, while reports noted Ukrainian strikes on Kyiv area depots and gains near Lyman.
