Ukrainian troops report advances near Kupiansk and Lyman, while Russian officials claim gains near Sumy and dismiss Ukrainian progress in Zaporizhzhia.

Conflicting battlefield reports continue across multiple sectors in Ukraine as both sides report tactical movements along the frontline.

Ukrainian forces have reportedly advanced along the right bank of the Oskil River, north of Kupiansk. Additionally, Ukrainian officials are preparing to confirm control over roughly 200 square kilometres of territory near Lyman.

Meanwhile, Russia's Ministry of Defence reported that its military captured several settlements leading toward Sumy and executed strikes on ammunition storage sites in the Kyiv region. On the southern Zaporizhzhia front, Chief of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov publicly dismissed claims of Ukrainian progress, maintaining that Russian defensive lines remain intact. The operational situation along the front remains fluid.
