Ukrainian troops reportedly advanced near Kupiansk and Lyman, while Russia claimed gains near Sumy and denied Ukrainian progress in Zaporizhzhia.

Ukrainian forces report advances along the right bank of the Oskil River north of Kupiansk, with official announcements anticipated regarding control over up to 200 square kilometres near Lyman. Conversely, the Russian Ministry of Defence claimed its troops captured several settlements approaching Sumy and launched strikes targeting ammunition depots in the Kyiv region.

In the southern Zaporizhzhia sector, Valery Gerasimov, Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, publicly dismissed allegations of Ukrainian tactical progress. Operational developments along all active frontlines remain dynamic and subject to conflicting reports from both sides.
