Ukrainian drone attacks hit multiple Russian regions following lethal Russian bombardments on Kyiv and Zaporizhzhia, while political debates over military aid and security guarantees continue.

Following heavy Russian bombardments that killed at least 17 people in Kyiv and damaged residential areas in Zaporizhzhia, Ukrainian drone strikes targeted several Russian regions. Ukrainian attacks were reported near Moscow, in Belgorod, and along the Black Sea coast near Gelendzhik, resulting in multiple casualties.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Ukraine will not voluntarily retreat from Donbas, emphasizing that "US guarantees" will provide strong security after the war. Meanwhile, former US President Donald Trump raised concerns over sharing Patriot missile technology, stressing the need to protect sensitive defense secrets.

In maritime actions, Italian naval forces intercepted a Russian shadow fleet oil tanker near Pantelleria. Separately, reports emerged from Russia detailing fraudulent quick-marriage schemes intended to claim military death benefits.
