Ukraine reports over 220 daily combat engagements as heavy fighting persists around Pokrovsk, while both sides report tactical movements across Kupiansk, Lyman, Sumy, and Zaporizhzhia.

Heavy fighting continues along Ukraine's eastern and southern frontlines, with the Ukrainian General Staff reporting more than 220 combat engagements within 24 hours. Russian forces concentrated high-intensity assaults near Pokrovsk, launching over 20 attacks, as well as in the South Slobozhan sector.

Frontline reports indicate contrasting tactical movements across multiple axes. Ukrainian troops reportedly advanced on the right bank of the Oskil River north of Kupiansk and secured gains in the Lyman sector. In contrast, Russia's Defense Ministry claimed to have captured several settlements near Sumy and targeted ammunition storage facilities in the Kyiv region. Meanwhile, Russian Chief of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov denied reports of Ukrainian territorial advances in the Zaporizhzhia region.
