Ukraine's security forces report operational gains and tactical rescues
Ukraine's Security Service detailed results from a 40-day campaign against Russian military assets, alongside recent special operations rescues and drone reports.
Ukraine’s Security Service (SBU) has summarized the outcomes of a 40-day strategic campaign intended to press Russia toward ending the war, reporting strikes on over 21,000 Russian military targets and nearly 5,000 casualties.
In parallel operational developments, Ukraine's Navy special intelligence unit "Angels" evacuated a couple from Russian-occupied territory, where they had been under surveillance by Russia's Federal Security Service due to family ties to a Ukrainian military officer. Additionally, Ukraine's Special Operations Forces captured two Russian soldiers during a covert raid.
In southern Ukraine, police in Kherson released footage of a Russian drone targeting a 52-year-old civilian vendor, who survived the attack.
