Ukraine updates casualty count from Russian strikes as North Korean missile unit deploys

Ukrainian authorities updated the casualty count from Russian overnight missile and drone strikes on Kyiv and the surrounding region, reporting between 15 and 17 people killed and dozens injured. On the frontlines, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine recorded 233 combat engagements over a 24-hour period, with intense fighting concentrated in the Pokrovsk and Kupiansk sectors. Ukrainian military officials noted that Russian forces deployed thousands of kamikaze drones and over 300 guided aerial bombs.

Additionally, military intelligence cited reports indicating that a North Korean ballistic missile unit, equipped with up to six mobile launchers and dozens of missiles, has begun deploying in Russia's Voronezh region.
