Ukraine targets Samara rocket plant as frontline fighting intensifies

Ukrainian forces executed long-range missile and drone strikes targeting strategic industrial facilities in Russia's Samara region. Satellite images and local reports confirmed impacts near the Progress Rocket Space Centre, a producer of Soyuz launch vehicles, alongside the adjacent Aviakor aircraft repair facility. Additional aerial strikes targeted sites across the Nizhny Novgorod, Penza, and Rostov regions, with potential impacts near the Savasleyka airfield.

Meanwhile, ground combat intensified along the eastern front line, where Ukrainian defense officials reported more than 250 engagements within 24 hours. Russian forces attempted to advance near the Oskil River on the Kupyansk axis and expanded operations south of Dobropillia, while mounting heavy assaults in the Lyman and Kostyantynivka sectors.
