Ukraine targets Russian rocket plant as frontline clashes exceed 250 in a day
Ukrainian strikes targeted defense facilities in Samara as frontline combat escalated with over 250 engagements reported in 24 hours.
Ukrainian forces conducted missile and drone strikes against Russian industrial and defense facilities, impacting key military sites in Samara and surrounding regions. Satellite imagery confirmed damage to Samara's Progress Rocket Space Centre and the adjacent Aviakor aircraft repair plant. Aerial attacks were also reported across the Nizhny Novgorod, Penza, and Rostov regions, with facilities near the Savasleyka military airfield targeted.
Meanwhile, heavy ground combat persisted across eastern Ukraine. The Ukrainian General Staff reported over 250 combat engagements within 24 hours, highlighting intense Russian offensive actions along the Lyman, Kostiantynivka, and Pokrovsk axes aimed at breaching defense lines near the Oskil River and Dobropillia.
