Ukraine targets Russian aerospace facilities as heavy ground fighting continues

Ukrainian long-range strikes have targeted strategic defense and aerospace manufacturing sites inside Russia, with satellite imagery confirming hits on facilities in the Samara Region. The strikes damaged the Progress Rocket Space Centre, responsible for assembling Soyuz carrier rockets, and the neighbouring Aviakor plant, which services strategic bombers. Regional officials confirmed missile and drone attacks across the Samara, Nizhny Novgorod, Penza, and Rostov regions.

Simultaneously, intense ground engagements continue across eastern Ukraine. Ukrainian military officials reported more than 250 daily clashes, with Russian forces maintaining offensive pressure in the Lyman, Kostyantynivka, and Pokrovsk sectors. Field reports indicate Russian attempts to split Ukrainian bridgeheads along the Oskil River and push south toward Dobropillia, while Ukrainian defenders reported repelling dozens of assaults.
