Ukraine targets industrial sites in Samara as frontline clashes surge

Long-range strikes hit key industrial infrastructure in Russia's Samara region, damaging facilities linked to spacecraft manufacturing and military aviation maintenance. Satellite imagery validated strikes on the Progress Rocket Space Centre and the neighboring Aviakor plant following reported missile and drone attacks across several Russian territories, including Nizhny Novgorod and Rostov.

Concurrently, intense ground combat persisted along the eastern front, where Ukrainian defense officials recorded over 250 military engagements in 24 hours. Russian assault forces launched repeated offensive pushes on the Lyman, Kupyansk, and Pokrovsk sectors, seeking to breach defensive lines east of the Oskil River and expand controlled territory near Dobropillia.
