Ukrainian strikes hit defense facilities in Samara as heavy frontline combat saw Russian forces advance in eastern Ukraine amid over 250 daily clashes.

Ukrainian forces targeted Russian industrial and military sites with missile and drone strikes, hitting Samara's Progress Rocket Space Centre and the adjacent Aviakor aircraft repair plant. Satellite imagery confirmed damage to facilities involved in manufacturing Soyuz launch vehicles and servicing strategic bombers. Russian officials also reported aerial attacks across Nizhny Novgorod, Penza, and Rostov regions.

Concurrently, heavy ground combat continued across the eastern front, with Ukrainian military reports recording more than 250 daily engagements. Russian forces pressed attacks on the Lyman, Kostyantynivka, and Kupiansk axes, advancing south of Dobropillia and threatening to bisect Ukrainian positions near the Oskil River.
