Ukraine strikes Russian military factories as front-line battles intensify

Ukrainian forces have launched missile and drone strikes against Russian industrial and military sites across multiple regions, including Samara, Nizhny Novgorod, Penza, and Rostov. Satellite imagery and social media reports indicate damage to Samara's Progress Rocket Space Centre and the adjacent Aviakor aircraft plant, key facilities involved in manufacturing Soyuz space launch vehicles and servicing military aircraft. Strikes were also reported near the Savasleyka airfield.

Concurrently, heavy ground combat continues along the front line, with Ukrainian officials recording more than 250 engagements over a 24-hour period. Russian forces launched multiple assaults on the Lyman and Kostyantynivka sectors while attempting to split Ukrainian positions on the Oskil River near Kupiansk and expanding control south of Dobropillia. Russian strikes also targeted a major Ukrainian metallurgical enterprise.
