Ukrainian long-range strikes hit key defense facilities in Samara while heavy ground combat intensified across eastern front-line sectors.

Ukrainian forces have launched long-range missile and drone attacks against Russian military and industrial facilities, targeting Samara's Progress Rocket Space Centre and the adjacent Aviakor aircraft maintenance plant. Satellite imagery and local footage confirmed damage at both sites, which produce Soyuz rockets and service military aircraft. Further aerial strikes were reported across the Nizhny Novgorod, Penza, and Rostov regions, including potential strikes on the Savasleyka airfield.

Concurrently, ground combat persisted along the eastern front line, with Ukrainian officials reporting over 250 combat engagements within 24 hours. Russian forces launched renewed assault attempts near Lyman, Kostyantynivka, and Kupiansk, expanding territory south of Dobropillia while attempting to divide Ukrainian positions along the Oskil River. Russian forces also targeted a major Ukrainian metallurgical enterprise.
