Heavy fighting continues across Ukraine as military authorities report over 250 daily clashes, with intense pressure near Lyman and Pokrovsk alongside Ukrainian counter-attacks near Kupyansk.

Fighting along the front line in eastern Ukraine has escalated, with the Ukrainian General Staff recording more than 250 combat engagements in a single day. Russian troops focused their primary offensive efforts on breaching defenses in the Lyman, Kostiantynivka, and Pokrovsk directions, conducting dozens of assault operations.

Concurrently, Ukrainian forces executed localized counter-actions. Near Kupyansk on the eastern bank of the Oskil River, Ukrainian infantry conducted clearing operations after neutralizing Russian electronic warfare and drone capabilities. Reports also indicate potential Ukrainian territorial gains of up to 200 square kilometers near Lyman.

Meanwhile, conflicting battlefield claims persist. Russia's Defense Ministry claimed control over several border settlements leading toward Sumy, while Russian Chief of General Staff Valery Gerasimov denied Ukrainian progress along the Zaporizhzhia front. Strikes targeting military infrastructure were also reported in the Kyiv region.
