Ukrainian forces repelled over 250 daily assaults across key eastern axes while advancing near Kupyansk, amid conflicting Russian battlefield claims.

Heavy fighting continues along the front lines in Ukraine, with Ukrainian military officials reporting more than 220 to 250 combat engagements daily. Ukrainian forces repelled dozens of Russian assaults, primarily concentrated on the Pokrovsk, Lyman, and Kostiantynivka axes.

Despite sustained Russian pressure, Ukrainian troops made tactical gains along the right bank of the Oskil River north of Kupyansk and are attempting to reclaim up to 200 square kilometers near Lyman. Conversely, Russia’s Defense Ministry claimed control of several settlements near Sumy, while Russian Chief of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov denied Ukrainian advancements in the Zaporizhzhia region. Additionally, strikes were recorded on ammunition depots in the Kyiv region.
