Intense fighting continues across eastern Ukraine with over 250 daily engagements as Ukrainian forces conduct operations near Kupyansk amid conflicting official reports.

Intense combat operations continue across eastern and southern Ukraine, with daily engagements surpassing 250, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Heavy fighting remains concentrated around Pokrovsk, Kostiantynivka, and Lyman, where Ukrainian troops repelled dozens of Russian assaults aimed at breaching defensive lines.

North of Kupyansk, Ukrainian forces conducted infantry clearing operations along the Oskil River after using electronic warfare to suppress Russian drone capabilities.

Frontline reports highlight conflicting official claims across several sectors. Russian military officials asserted gains near Sumy, while Russian Chief of General Staff Valery Gerasimov publicly rejected assertions of Ukrainian progress in Zaporizhzhia. Meanwhile, reports emerged regarding potential Ukrainian tactical advances near Lyman.
