Ukraine's parliament will vote on new cabinet appointments as Commander-in-Chief Mychajlo Drapatyj restructures military leadership following ministerial reshuffles.

The Ukrainian parliament is scheduled to vote on Wednesday regarding President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's nomination of former intelligence chief Yevhen Khmara as Defence Minister, alongside Andrii Sybiha for Foreign Minister.

The nominations follow the dismissal of former Defence Minister Mychajlo Fedorov, who recently called for wartime elections while alleging systemic corruption and a "crisis of governance."

Concurrently, newly appointed Commander-in-Chief Mychajlo Drapatyj has begun restructuring the armed forces' leadership. Drapatyj is dismantling informal patronage networks linked to previous command structures and reforming personnel practices to better support successful combat commanders across the military.
