Ukrainian strikes targeted rocket and aircraft plants in Russia's Samara region as heavy ground fighting surged across eastern battlefields.

Ukrainian long-range strikes targeted key Russian military-industrial facilities, including the Progress Rocket Space Centre and the neighboring Aviakor aircraft plant in the Samara region. Satellite imagery and regional reports confirmed damage to infrastructure used for assembling Soyuz rockets and repairing military bombers. Additional drone and missile attacks were reported across the Nizhny Novgorod, Penza, and Rostov regions, aiming at sites including the Savasleyka airfield.

Simultaneously, intense ground combat persisted along the eastern front line. Ukraine's General Staff reported over 250 combat clashes within 24 hours, noting major Russian offensive operations in the Lyman and Kostiantynivka sectors. Russian forces also secured tactical gains south of Dobropillia and tried to divide Ukrainian defensive lines along the Oskil River near Kupiansk.
