Slovenian football figures Aleš Čeh and Jan Mlakar have shared insights on their careers, coaching journeys, and domestic rivalry dynamics in PrvaLiga.

Former Slovenian national team captain Aleš Čeh and NK Maribor striker Jan Mlakar have discussed their career trajectories and current domestic football developments. Čeh reflected on his post-playing transition into coaching, having served over a decade as an assistant to manager Srečko Katanec, including seven years working in Asia. Despite his historical ties to Olimpija Ljubljana and Austria's Grazer AK, Čeh expressed continued respect for NK Maribor.

Concurrently, 27-year-old forward Jan Mlakar has returned to NK Maribor for a third spell in pursuit of his first league title with the club. Expressing strong trust in key figures Zlatko Zahović and Darko Milanič, Mlakar noted that despite ongoing internal challenges at rival side Olimpija Ljubljana, the capital club remains a dangerous contender in derby fixtures.
