Satellite images show damage to Samara aerospace plants as front-line fighting intensifies

Satellite imagery confirmed missile strikes on major aerospace facilities in Russia's Samara region, including the Progress Rocket Space Centre and the adjacent Aviakor aviation plant. Local authorities acknowledged a massive missile attack, while reports indicated additional drone and missile activity across the Nizhny Novgorod, Penza, and Rostov regions.

Concurrently, intense ground combat persisted along the eastern front in Ukraine. The Ukrainian General Staff reported 254 combat engagements in a single day, with heavy Russian assault activity concentrated in the Lyman and Kostyantynivka sectors. Russian forces also expanded their positions south of Dobropillia and advanced toward dividing Ukrainian defenses near Kupyansk.
