Russian strikes on the Kyiv region killed up to 17 people, while intelligence reports indicate a North Korean ballistic missile unit is deploying to Russia's Voronezh Oblast.

Russian forces launched overnight ballistic missile and drone strikes targeting Kyiv and the surrounding region, killing up to 17 people and injuring dozens more. Ukrainian emergency services and local officials reported severe damage to commercial infrastructure, storage warehouses, and residential areas across multiple districts.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian military intelligence reported that a North Korean missile unit has begun deploying in Russia's Voronezh Oblast. The detachment is reportedly equipped with mobile launchers and dozens of ballistic missiles intended to support Russian strike operations against Ukraine.

Along the eastern front line, Ukrainian forces conducted clearance operations against entrenched Russian personnel in Kupyansk and captured soldiers near Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka. Concurrently, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced upcoming personnel reorganizations within the Armed Forces and the Defense Ministry.
