At least five people were killed and 16 injured following nearly 60 Russian strikes across Ukraine's Dnipropetrovsk region over 24 hours.

Russian forces launched nearly 60 attacks across five districts in Ukraine's central Dnipropetrovsk region over a 24-hour period, leaving at least five people dead and 16 others injured, according to local emergency services.

The heaviest casualties occurred in the Kamianske district, where three individuals were killed and five sustained injuries. In Pavlohrad, bombardment resulted in two fatalities and seven wounded residents. Further casualties and structural damage were recorded in the Nikopol district, where artillery shelling and drone strikes sparked multiple fires that required emergency intervention.

Ukrainian emergency crews deployed throughout the affected areas to extinguish blazes, rescue survivors, and clear debris as the full-scale conflict entered its 1,625th day.
