Russian strikes kill 17 around Kyiv as North Korean missile unit reported in Voronezh

Overnight Russian ballistic missile and drone strikes targeting Kyiv and the surrounding region killed up to 17 people and injured dozens of others. Local officials reported significant damage to residential areas and commercial infrastructure, including warehouse facilities in the Bucha district.

Concurrently, intelligence reports revealed that Russia has begun deploying a North Korean missile unit to its Voronezh region. The unit reportedly includes six launchers and up to 120 ballistic missiles intended to support ongoing long-range strikes against Ukrainian targets.

On the frontlines, Ukrainian forces engaged Russian troops occupying defensive positions in Kupyansk and captured several combatants near Oleksijevo-Druzhkivka.
