Deadly Russian strikes hit Kyiv and surrounding areas, while reports reveal the deployment of a North Korean ballistic missile unit in Russia's Voronezh region.

Overnight Russian missile and drone strikes targeted Kyiv and the surrounding region, killing between 15 and 17 people and injuring over 40 others, according to local officials and emergency services. The attacks ignited fires across commercial infrastructure and damaged multiple storage facilities, including sites in the Bucha district.

Simultaneously, Ukrainian intelligence and military reports indicated that Russia has begun deploying a North Korean ballistic missile unit to the Voronezh region. The detachment is projected to manage six mobile launchers and roughly 120 missiles, dozens of which have already been delivered to Russian forces.

Along the front lines, Ukrainian forces engaged Russian positions in Kupyansk and captured personnel near Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka. Meanwhile, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced planned personnel reshuffles across the armed forces and the Defense Ministry.
