Russian strikes hit Kyiv region as North Korean missile unit deploys to Voronezh
Deadly Russian strikes struck Kyiv and its outskirts as intelligence reports revealed North Korean ballistic missile deployments in Russia's Voronezh region.
A wave of Russian overnight ballistic missile and drone attacks targeting Kyiv and the surrounding region killed between 15 and 17 people and injured dozens more, according to regional officials and emergency services. The strikes ignited multiple fires and damaged commercial logistics sites, including warehouses and transport infrastructure in the Bucha district.
Simultaneously, Ukrainian military intelligence reported that a North Korean missile unit, equipped with up to six launchers and an estimated 120 ballistic missiles, has commenced deployment in Russia's Voronezh region.
On the front lines, Ukrainian forces engaged entrenched Russian units in Kupyansk and captured personnel near Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka. Meanwhile, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced planned personnel adjustments across the nation's armed forces and defense ministry.
