Russia launched heavy strikes on Kyiv as reports surface of a North Korean missile detachment deploying to Voronezh.

Widespread overnight Russian missile and drone strikes across Kyiv and its surrounding suburbs have resulted in at least 17 deaths and dozens of injuries, according to Ukrainian emergency officials and regional leaders. The bombardment ignited fires and caused structural damage in several residential districts.

Simultaneously, Ukrainian intelligence and international reports indicate that Russia is deploying a North Korean military detachment to its Voronezh region. The unit reportedly possesses six launching platforms and up to 120 ballistic missiles, with initial batches already transferred to Russian custody.

On the battlefield, Ukraine's General Staff documented 233 clashes over a 24-hour period, with intense fighting remaining centered near Pokrovsk and Kupiansk. Meanwhile, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced plans for leadership adjustments within the defense ministry and armed forces.
