Russian missile and drone strikes caused heavy casualties near Kyiv, while reports emerged of North Korean missile deployments in Voronezh and ongoing front-line clashes.

A combined Russian attack using ballistic missiles and drones hit Kyiv and surrounding areas overnight, leaving up to 17 people dead and dozens injured. Authorities reported extensive damage to residential properties and industrial warehouses, particularly in the Bucha district, while casualty counts fluctuated across local reports as rescue operations continued.

Concurrently, reports indicated that a North Korean missile unit equipped with six launchers and approximately 120 ballistic missiles is being deployed to Russia's Voronezh region to enhance long-range offensive capabilities against Ukraine.

On the battlefield, Ukrainian forces worked to clear Russian troops from fortified positions in Kupyansk and captured several combatants near Oleksijevo-Druzhkivka. Meanwhile, Russian President Vladimir Putin signaled upcoming administrative reshuffles within the country's military command and Defense Ministry.
