Russian overnight strikes hit Kyiv as North Korean missile unit deploys in Voronezh

Russian forces launched a coordinated overnight assault using ballistic missiles and drones against Kyiv and the surrounding metropolitan region, causing severe destruction across multiple districts. Regional and emergency authorities reported between 15 and 17 fatalities, with injury counts ranging from 44 to 51 people amid widespread fires and warehouse damage.

Simultaneously, Ukrainian intelligence and international reports confirmed that a North Korean missile detachment began deploying in Russia's Voronezh region. The unit is reportedly equipped with mobile launchers and up to 120 ballistic missiles aimed at supporting Russian operations against Ukraine.
