Russian overnight strikes hit Kyiv as Moscow deploys North Korean missiles

Overnight Russian missile and drone strikes targeting Kyiv and surrounding areas killed up to 17 people and injured dozens more, according to local officials and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. The attack damaged commercial infrastructure, including warehouses and transport vehicles in the Bucha district.

Concurrently, Ukrainian military intelligence reported that Russia is deploying a North Korean missile unit equipped with six launchers and up to 120 ballistic missiles to the Voronezh region.

On the front line, Ukrainian forces engaged in close-quarters combat around Kupyansk, attempting to clear entrenched Russian troops from ruined positions. Meanwhile, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced upcoming administrative reshuffles within the country’s military command and defense ministry.
