Heavy fighting continues across Ukraine's eastern front line, with over 250 daily combat engagements and conflicting claims of territorial gains.

Active combat across the eastern front line in Ukraine has intensified, with the Ukrainian General Staff reporting over 250 engagements in a single 24-hour period. Intense offensive operations centered around the Lyman and Kostiantynivka sectors, where Russian forces launched dozens of assaults attempting to pierce Ukrainian lines, alongside more than 20 repelled attacks in the Pokrovsk area.

Shifting positions were reported along several axes. Ukrainian troops made advances north of Kupyansk along the right bank of the Oskil River, with potential counter-advances noted near Lyman. Conversely, Russia's Ministry of Defense claimed control over several settlements near Sumy. Meanwhile, Russian Chief of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov publicly dismissed claims of Ukrainian military advances in the Zaporizhzhia region.
