Ukrainian forces face over 200 daily engagements while conducting localized operations in the Kupyansk and Lyman sectors.

Intense combat continues along the front line in Ukraine, with official reports from Ukrainian military authorities logging between 221 and 254 combat engagements in recent 24-hour periods. Heavy fighting remains concentrated in the Lyman and Kostiantynivka directions, where Russian forces launched dozens of assaults attempting to breach defensive positions. High-intensity engagements were also reported near Pokrovsk, where Ukrainian forces repelled over 20 attacks across multiple settlements.

Alongside defensive efforts, localized tactical operations were noted in northern and eastern sectors. Ukrainian forces advanced along the right bank of the Oskil River north of Kupyansk and expanded operational presence around Lyman. Concurrently, Russia's Ministry of Defense claimed control over several settlements near Sumy, while Russian military leadership dismissed claims of Ukrainian advances in Zaporizhzhia.
