Intense frontline fighting continues across Ukraine, with defenders repelling over 250 daily assaults while securing tactical progress near Kupiansk.

Intense frontline combat across eastern and southern Ukraine continues, with the Ukrainian General Staff reporting more than 250 daily combat engagements. Russian forces mounted repeated assaults focused on the Lyman, Kostiantynivka, and Pokrovsk sectors in efforts to break through defensive lines.

In the Kupiansk direction, Ukrainian troops conducted successful infantry operations on the right bank of the Oskil River following electronic warfare interference that neutralized Russian drones. Ukrainian tactical operations near Lyman also point to potential gains of up to 200 square kilometers.

Meanwhile, conflicting accounts persist along other fronts. The Russian Defense Ministry claimed the capture of several settlements near Sumy, whereas Russian General Staff Chief Valery Gerasimov rejected claims of Ukrainian gains in Zaporizhzhia.
