Heavy fighting continues across eastern Ukraine, with the Ukrainian General Staff reporting over 250 daily combat engagements. Russian assault efforts remain concentrated around Lyman, Kostiantynivka, and Pokrovsk, where Ukrainian defenders repelled dozens of breakthrough attempts.
Concurrently, Ukrainian infantry conducted localized counter-advances north of Kupiansk along the Oskil River following operations against Russian drone positions. Divergent claims persist regarding territorial control, with Russian military officials asserting gains near Sumy while denying Ukrainian progress in Zaporizhzhia.
