More than 220 daily engagements were reported across Ukraine's front as Ukrainian forces advanced near Kupyansk while Russia claimed gains near Sumy.

Intense combat operations continue across Ukraine's frontline, with the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine recording between 220 and 250 daily military engagements. Russian forces conducted dozens of assault attempts in the Lyman, Kostiantynivka, and Pokrovsk sectors in attempts to breach Ukrainian defensive positions.

Positional changes were reported across several operational areas. Ukrainian forces made advances along the right bank of the Oskil River north of Kupyansk, while reports emerged regarding potential Ukrainian territorial recoveries near Lyman. Conversely, Russia's Defense Ministry reported capturing several settlements near Sumy, and Russian General Staff Chief Valery Gerasimov publicly denied Ukrainian progress in the Zaporizhzhia direction. Additionally, strikes targeted ammunition storage facilities in the Kyiv region.
