Ukrainian forces report over 200 daily engagements amid intense fighting in Pokrovsk, Lyman, and Kupyansk, while official claims regarding territorial control conflict.

High-intensity combat operations continue across eastern and southern Ukraine, with the Ukrainian General Staff reporting between 221 and 254 combat engagements over a single 24-hour period. Heavy Russian assaults were concentrated primarily along the Lyman, Kostiantynivka, and Pokrovsk sectors.

North of Kupyansk, Ukrainian infantry executed clearing operations on the right bank of the Oskil River after electronic warfare units reportedly suppressed opposing drone capabilities. Meanwhile, conflicting reporting remains over territorial control along several front lines. Russian defense authorities claimed to have seized several settlements near Sumy, whereas independent summaries noted potential Ukrainian consolidations near Lyman. Additionally, Russian Chief of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov publicly denied assertions of Ukrainian tactical progress in the Zaporizhzhia region.
