Over 250 combat engagements occurred across Ukraine as Russian strikes caused civilian casualties in the Kyiv and Kherson regions.

Intense frontline clashes continue across eastern and southern Ukraine, with the Ukrainian General Staff reporting over 250 combat engagements within 24 hours. Russian forces launched dozens of assault attempts in the Pokrovsk, Lyman, and Kostiantynivka directions. Meanwhile, Ukrainian forces conducted infantry clearing operations along the Oskil River north of Kupiansk after neutralizing Russian drone capabilities.

Conflicting official claims continue along peripheral sectors. Russian defense officials reported taking several settlements near Sumy, while Russian Chief of General Staff Valery Gerasimov denied Ukrainian progress in Zaporizhzhia.

Simultaneously, Russian overnight drone strikes inflicted civilian casualties, including the deaths of a mother and two children in the Kyiv region and a priest in Kherson Oblast.
